Somerset's Marcus Trescothick has had to fly home from the Champions League Twenty20 in India after a recurrence of his stress-related illness.
The former England opener, 33, will play no further part in the event where Somerset have reached the second phase. -----
Not surprising, but sad for someone who could have been an England great - imagine having Strauss and Trescothick opening for over 10 years of Cricket.

Something happened in India when he was on tour last time round with England - whatever it is, it's scarred him for life - I hope it's not what some of the gutter trash have said it is.

Its a dissapointment, but expected.
He did well to get on the plane n stay as long as he did and I wonder how much of a health tonic a couple of great innings would have been to him, instead of 2 poor innings.
