| Many people predict that Pac's speed will be the key to the fight but Cotto is far too smart to be outdone by a guy who is simply quicker than he. He has dealt brilliantly with quick fighters before. For me it is a 50/50 fight, Cotto has to get through the first 3 or 4 rounds when Manny is bound to try to overwhelm him. If the fight reaches the mid-rounds with Cotto still competitive then it is anybody's fight. | |

| Pacs class shown over the course of the fight. Enjoyed it and glad i stayed up. At the start it was great, both flying in with punches.. but then he started to dominate and it was the right decision for the ref to stop it in the last round. I think we all knew with rounds to go the outcome of the fight. He is definitely up there with the best of the best, he's such a good fighter, and i never doubted he would win. Talk of him and Floyd next. I think that would be one of the biggest fights ever, and i would LOVE it. | |

| I watched the first 6 rounds on a crappy stream in Spanish, and then the stream went off line. So will have to watch it again when it hits home TV here.
Other then the first round when Cotto started well with his jab keeping Pacquiao off guard, it was a one way fight. Couple of early knockdowns took the stuffing out of Cotto and it looked like it wouldn't go the distance. I was surprise this morning that it wasn't stopped until the 12th.
Have to agree that a Pacquiao/Maywheather would be a good one. | |
