Isnt it about time these two prats were washed out of Cricket?

Yet another game made into a joke.

Not the West Indies fault, but killed what could have been a brilliant match.

And again....

D/L works in the longer games, 50 and 40 over, bu does not hold rue in T20 format.

Perhaps Duckworth and Lewis never invisaged cricket selling out.

I saw Lewis, of the Duckworth n Lewis parnership, defending their system after the West Indies game.

He said, after West Indies scored 30 runs from 2.2 overs, they were a firm favorites to win and instead of blaming the D&L system, Englands poor bowling at the start of the WI innings should be highlighted.

He was VERY bullish in his defending, but did not rule out amending some of the calculations for T20.

I thought Nasser Hussian summed it all up very well. He said he is a firm fan of the D&L system, but feels the powers at be should have seen there would be problems using it with the shortest format of the game.
