I think Belguim are too much for Wales and France are too strong for Iceland. The other two games are toss ups.

Poland have played well, only one goal allowed I believe and if Milik and Lewandowski can start to put away the sitters they keep missing, this Polish team could make the final. Ronaldo needs to be at his best to see Portugal win this in my opinion, since I believe Poland have the better team. I think you will see either Milik or Lewandowski get on the scoreboard and lead Poland to a close win.

Italy v Germany to me is too close to call. While Germany is the better team, Italy always beats them in tournaments. Other than Iceland for me how well Italty has played is the big surprise these Euros and they could very well go on to win it all. However, I see this game going to penalties and the Germans never seem to lose when it goes to penalties.

Im hoping Poland beat Portugal. I think Lewandowski is due.

Belgium are improving, and I think they will cruise to victory over Wales.

Germany and Italy is going to be a cracker. Italy have a great record in tournaments against the Germans. I think they win this one too, but its a little too closely matched to be definitive.

France to beat the Icelanders, but I think its close.

Poland weren't the better team vs the Swiss. Penalties are a toss up though.

Iceland, if they continue the discipline, could very well do France. I think they may run out of staying power, but really, France haven't looked amazing either. They've left it quite late in two of their wins and haven't looked all that convincing to me, but they're still in it.

Wales, a lot like Iceland, could nick it vs Belgium. Look at the counter attack Italy played in the first game, and absolutely smashed them.

This one team settling for %30 possession to counter vs one team with %70 possession looking to score a team goal, is tiring to watch.

Lewandowsk on the scoresheet already. If he starts to find the back of the net like he is capable of doing, watch out for Poland.

Good game this. Portugal on top even after they equalized.

Be interesting to see how both sides come out after the break given what's at stake.

I didnt get to see the game as we went out for a meal, but the noise coming from the Bar at the Golf course painted a picture of half of Wales watching the game.

Dare I say I am not surprised by the result? They played each other to qualify and Wales defended in both games and got results.

The Belgium players are stars in their own minds who love a microphone infront of them and for me do not play well together. Almost Spain like before their dominance.

Word on Chelsea board, Hazard was only 70% fit last night and should not have played.

I presume he was pants?

FOOTNOTE.

Beer at Golf course shit too ... Starting to get worried Crying or Very sad

Im trying to enjoy the Italy Germany game, but my thought process is constantly being interrupted by visions of brutally murdering co-commentator Gary Birtles.

What a total fucking clueless bellend this guy is. His contribution to the spectacle is essentially suggest both teams play English type football, risk conceding possession and give it some welly.

Germans win on penalties, like I said, but man where there some poor penalties from two teams believed to be among the best out there.

France running rampant today against Iceland. Game over by half time, in retrospect glad England didn't make the quarters, they would have been destroyed.

France certainly took advantage of Iceland, who for the first time in the tournament looked pretty nervous.

It's hard to make the analysis that Engkand would have been routed by France, but I'm certain they would not have beaten them.

I told you guys France would smash these guys. France's young talent dwarfs that of England tbh. No one wants to admit it though.

TT...agreed about the Belgians. I like a lot of their players, but my word were they rubbish vs Wales. And Wales came to play football, not just neutralize the game. Robson-Kanu's Cryuff turn was a text book play. That Munier is a crap defender if you ask me. He's just gone to PSG though. Also not sure what to make of Lukaku at this point. He's kind of running out of all this potential people are talking about. I've seen nothing of substance for the last year.

If he had a first touch, we may have something, but I don't see it.
