| Shall we get a private league going for this forum if enough people are interested? I havent looked into the way the game works, but if enough people are up for it I'll join in.
Could be a good bit of fantasy banter during the close football season!

| Getting to the crunch time now with this. Have delayed choosing my fantasy team to see if we get enough interest to start a league. If people can publish their interest in this thread asap we can see what sort of numbers we have. Im sure Josh, Huz, Tick and Red will be up for this. Perhaps tonight I will register myself, create a link and put the link on this page as encouragement for people to pull their finger out Perhaps if enough people get involved we can award some points for performance as well. | |

| I don't know the first thing about Cricket and since Sky are refusing to give me the money I won for wining their fantasy football league there's not much point in playing. | |

Why dont u get in touch with the Daily Mirror - or another rival media group - they might be interested in making public Sky's stance with you over their fantasy league.

I was considering contacting other media groups and will do that once I exhaust all options with Sky. Still talking with Sky, they have made a couple of points and I have given counter arguments and will see where it goes.

| So, you have until 10:59am tomorrow I believe to submit a team.
2014 is the pin to join the Talkfooty private league, so it would be good if someone can join up, or I'll be in a league on my own (at least I will win it).
The link again is http://www.skysports.com/fantasy-ashes and it took me 10 mins to set up completely.
It would also be good if team names reflected in some way, your talk footy usernames, so we can identify which teams belong to whom. Perhaps you can submit the name of your team in this thread for ease.
Mine of course is the ABCDEF XI (I never realised hw much fun i could have with the Alphabet.)

| Approved. 3 people, at least thats a start. Expect entries from Red "I'm at war with Sky" Canuck and Huzup also, at the least.
If you have any people that love a bit of cricket, but dont usually use the forum, feel free to give out the pin to them to get some numbers in. For the fantasy footy, it was best to keep it in house and will be best to keep it that way in future, but for something as short and sweet as the Ashes, we may as well accept all comers.

| I joined but since I know nothing of cricket I went for the lucky dip. Red Canuck X1 is the team. If I win a prize here Sky will really be pissed off. I see where they make you tick off the box that says you read the terms and conditions, wasn't there for the football. | |

They saw you coming and your team looks very good. Think its strange you can view each others team before it starts but hey.

| Quite a league we have going now. Just finished watching how we won the 05 Ashes on Sky Sports and am very pumped for tomorrow.
Disappointed that I cannot just sit all day and watch it, but what can you do!
