Suggestion

Hi lads, ill put my tin hat on here, but here goes
With the new season nearly upon us, i think we can make this forum a little bit busier, and attract some new members before the new season begins, with the following suggestions.

In my opinion, the board feels too spread out and theres too many categories, and some categories that are not needed.

Id suggest keep the three at the top, introduce section, announcements etc, as they are.

But below have 1 main football forum, for everything football related, a transfer forum, a forum for other sports, and a general discussion forum. Which would look something like this:




Introduce yourself

Football Competitions

Announcements
----------------------------

Football Discussion

Transfer Forum

----------------------------
Other sports Forum
--------------------------

General Discussion




I think this would give it a more appealing view on the eye and not as heavy as i think it looks now.
It will look condensed and the topics will be more compact, giving us more to view, and discuss, hence becoming more active

Thoughts?

I am not against reforming the forum, removing some of the categories and merging others. Euro 2008 and the World Cup has come and gone and those forums could be removed now. If any other people have ideas lets here them.

Anything that brings new blood must be seriously looked at.

Yeah I agree board could be made more tidy, but the underlining factor seems to be, we attract a fair amount of new traffic, they just dont bother to sign n speak.

whilst on the subject of making the board busier, ironically i will not be on for the next 3 weeks as i am going to turkey this morning for two weeks, and then a week in dortmund to watch city in pre season.
