Copa America about to start. Argentina Bolivia kicks off in about 40 minutes. I know it's late for you in the UK but this is in my time zone. Should be some good football, Argentina and Brazil are stacked and expected to meet in the final, with Chile and Uruguay strong sides as well.

This is a month long tournament and with Tevez, Suarez, Luiz and Ramires seeing lots of action there's a good chance they will miss the first couple of games of the season. I believe the only United player there is Valencia, but Ecuador is not expected to get out of the group stages so he should be alright for the start of the season.

Looking forward to seeing some good football here, all the South American teams want to do well here and really go for it. Should be a great tournament.

Argentina 1 Bolivia 1

Bolivia played much better than expected and while Argentina looked the better team and had most of the possession Bolivia more than held there own until Aguero came on for the last 15 minutes. Aguero scored the equalizer and could have had a couple of others. Messi looked his normal dominating self but never really came close to scoring. Tevez was ineffective and should have been substituted.

Was watching Ever Banega, Argentina's creative midfielder. It looks like they are setting up as the engine of the team, very good on the ball and a great distributor of the ball. Lost possession a few times under pressure and managed to fumble the ball into his own net off a short corner that caught Argentina napping. So not the best of nights, but he is one to watch as the tournament progresses.

As you have said this isnt in our time zone and I think its being covered by ESPN, so as I dont subscribe to it, I wont be taking it in. Years gone past I have watched the Copa and enjoyed the passion n skills. Not sure if either of the Chelsea players will be missed as neither will be nailed on starting 11 material.

Watched the second half of Brazil v Paraguay, Brazil looked very good offensively with Neymar, Pato and Ganso. Two each by Neymar and Pato, Neymar also got an assist and had perhaps his best game in a Brazilian shirt.

He tore ligaments in his knee while training with Brazil and has been sent back to London to be assessed by Spurs medical staff.

Sounds like it is a reoccurring problem he has had and may need surgery which will put him out for a month or so.

Sandro has knee surgery and specialist has advised a three-month rehabilitation period before a return to full training," Spurs said on their website.

That's a big blow because he was starting to look like he could be a decent player.
