All 23 players shortlisted for the FIFA Ballon d'Or 2015 are currently plying their trade in the UEFA Champions League.

The team with the most nominees (six) are UEFA Champions League holders Barcelona. They are closely followed by Bayern München and Real Madrid, who both have five. Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo has won the award for the past two seasons.
