I thought it was a poor game.

Happy for John

Gerrard took his goal very well.... although... I was expecting him to dive?

BBC again talk up the statue known as Barry

He is ok as long as he dont have to run.

Not sure what the new manager will get out of the game.... and I found Ebay more entertaining throughout the 90 minutes.

Why are we going to Trinidad and Tobago now?

It was a poor effort by the Americans, don't know if they were missing players or they have dropped from their previous level. England were never threaten and James had little or nothing to do. They looked good from set plays, Beckham played better than I thought he would. England passed the ball well in the second half and that was a nice buildup on the goal by Gerrard. I though Gerrard looked OK out wide and Rooney looks better in the hole behind the main striker than upfront on his own. But Capello has to still find the main striker, Defore didn't cut it for me. I thought we were going to get a look at Ashton or Agbonlahor teaming up with Rooney. Barry does keep getting hyped, he passes the ball well and works well with Gerrard, but I have to think that against better midfields he would get over run.

Now on to Trinidad and Tobago, why? I expect it is a opportunity to line Jack Warner's pocket in the false hope that he will support England bid for the 2018 World Cup.

I agree with you on Defoe.... that performance has him stepping backwards.

Its probably our weakest position.
